What I want to achieve before 25....

DreaMs...
Dreams...
Dreams...

Some might say....Dreams are merely dreams....

Some might say....Ahh, forget it, its just a dream anyway!

But I wont say that.... To me dream is an entity that drives us to be what we want... I'm not writing about those dreams that we have everyday.... But they're about what we want to be?? what we want to achieve?? Our goals in life???

I dream of being a TESL student ..... now, here I am....

I dream of being a debater since school ... now, I am a debater....

I dream of having my own original expensive perfume (whatever they call it)..now I have it...

and a lot more....

well, thats like years before.... just to fill up my empty days.....I want to list things I want to achieve before 25....four years to go.....

1) Of course..........the one and only......... becoming..........SLIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2) Have a degree.......become a teacher......have my own salary....yeehaa!!

3) A girlfriend I guess....I dont know.....maybe yes maybe no....I'm planning to settle down at 30

4) Buy my own designer bag!!!

5) Modify my car......and even pay for it....hohoho

6) Have a room full of my own clothes, shoes, bags...HAHAHA (dreamy boy)

7) Go on vacay to PARIS!!!! I've always wanted to go there... ohhh!!!

SO WHATS YOURS???!!!!

"Can I take your order please?"

My first job was back then when I was 18 years old after sitting for the SPM exam. I worked as a full-time factory worker at Khian Guan Biscuit factory Sdn. Bhd. Well, the funny thing is, it lasted for about hurmm..... three.....three months?? not exactly.... its three days!!! hahaha! Why? can you imagine standing 10 hours NON-STOP working like a mad robot, carrying 10kg of biscuites....I cant even listen to my MP3! oh damn! still its an experience growing up....

Second job..... hurm...its quite an amazing experience.... I worked as a teacher at a private tuition centre.... teaching science, english, and maths to Standard 4, 5, and 6.... english to form 1, 2 and 3.... The salary was ok....but its the experience that really counts...

Third job was again....as a teacher.... I taught English at Armada Ilmu Tuition Centre in Seksyen 7 Shah Alam.... It was quite remarkable teaching there as my students were cute...hehehe....and I earned quite some money per month.... But I quit because of my transportation problem...

AND NOW! here I am, sitting in PUTRA CAFE....working as a waiter....its a new experience .... I nearly spilt tea to my first customer.... hehehe....embarassing actually....I really hope to gain new experience here.....

ENJOY!

There is NO GOD!!

READERS,

is GOD REAL?????

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty. He asks one of his new Muslim students to stand and…..
Professor: You are a Muslim, aren’t you, son?
Student : Yes, sir.
Prof: So you believe in God?
Student : Absolutely, sir.
Prof: Is God good?
Student : Sure.
Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student : Yes.
Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn’t. How is this God good then? Hmm?
(Student is silent.)

Prof: You can’t answer, can you? Let’s start again, young fella. Is God good?
Student :Yes.
Prof: Is Satan good?
Student : No.
Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student : From…God…
Prof: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student : Yes.
Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student : Yes.
Prof: So who created evil?

(Student does not answer.)
Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don’t they?
Student :Yes, sir.
Prof: So, who created them?
(Student has no answer.)
Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son…Have you ever seen God?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student : No , sir.
Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.
Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student : Yes.

Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.
Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.
Student : No sir. There isn’t. (The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?
Student : You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light….But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it’s called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student : Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where theargument is going.)
Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavour, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?
(The class is in uproar.)

Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain? (The class breaks out into laughter.)
Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it?….No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)
Prof: I guess you’ll have to take them on faith, son.
Student : That is it sir.. The link between man & god is FAITH. That is all that keeps things moving & alive

PPSMI personal response...

Some may agree but some may be a bit in a sense of disagreement with me. People have talked, are talking, and will be talking about this 'pengajaran matematik and sains dalam bahasa inggeris'.

Firstly readers, we have to take a look at the objective of PPSMI itself. It is firstly aimed to improve the english fluency among students in order to cater the increasingly demanding job market nowadays which wants more fresh graduates of high proficiency in English....

I want to create a post this time more sort of a debate....Those who are against PPSMI said:

1)We cant say that PPSMI work because it has been 6 years since the year this was established and nothing is going on well.

yerp very true, we cant see the progress YET! ask yourself how many years since the last time BAHASA INGGERIS was implemented in school?? 40 YEARS ago rite back to our parents' time?? and since when we started to realize we need to do something to improve students' proficiency in English??............6 YEARS AGO!!!

The point that i'm trying to justify here is that we need time to see the ultimate progress....Before, English had been taught since before 1957 itself and look at our parents, they are totally fluent in ENGLISH! My mother was not from the city, she's totally a kampung girl but still she talks English proficiently! We cant say something is not right just because it has not shown any progress for just FIVE YEARS of implementation....its just not right!

In fact!! PPSMI has worked! more than 5% of UPSR graduates learnt ENGLISH through PPSMI.....adding to the fact that we are still learning ENGLISH in classroom....Dont you think its fantastic enough than not having anything to be done to improve their proficiency???? T his is just for 5 YEARS, cant you imagine how much students will benefit for another 10 YEARS???

I have a sister in form 1....who is a product of PPSMI......and a sister of form 5 who is NOT a product of PPSMI......comparing my two sisters.......My form 1 sister can write an essay FAR better than her sister.....and FARRRRRR better than my form 5 students who had graduated from SPM last year <<<<<>
2) "Memperjuangkan BAHASA MELAYU" ????
What I want to write now is nothing....because....
I just can laugh.......
HAHAHAHA.....memperjuangkan konon!
why? for those who 'so-called' memperjuangkan bahasa melayu.....
are you denying the fact that ENGLISH is the language of the WORLD?
are you denying the fact that MOST science books are in ENGLISH??
are you saying if the we teach ENGLISH in math and science, we are killing our BAHASA? haa??
Are you blind? or pretending to be blind?? Helloo, we are still teaching BAHASA MELAYU in........
SEJARAH
GEOGRAFI
PENDIDIKAN ISLAM
PENDIDIKAN SYARIAH ISLAMIAH
PENDIDIKAN MORAL
SIVIK
KEMAHIRAN HIDUP
KAJIAN TEMPATAN
dan ini belum termasuk semua subjek elektif seperti:
LUKISAN KEJURUTERAAN
QURAN DAN SUNNAH
KESUSASTERAAN BAHASA MELAYU
dan baaaaaaaanyak lagi!!!!
.........
............
..................
...............shocked???
.......................................................
....................................................................
So whats up with that?
Just because we are teaching ENGLISH in MATH and SCIENCE, it doesnt mean we dont love malay! Punch yourself and wake up!
